Hey welcome to CB.
Nice work so far. I recommend using a darker background something like a 50% gray so the rim can pop the character out more as well as show the forms better.
Keep up the good work and look forward to future works.

May not bee 100% finished but I put it in finished works and I'm just ready to move on. May or may not end up being a portfolio character art piece.

I think this sketch from earlier might be one to work on however. I like the way it quickly came together.

November 2016 - Finally Finished

The concept of this piece started as a very small thumbnail in 2013. As I created the line work it was pure fun, and I haven't had that in a long time with art.

It was one of those things that just kept pushing back because I was afraid I would mess it up. I always wanted to add more but stopped here.

I dont know where he is going, but I know its dangerous. And its nice to have your stuff with you and especially your little friends.

July 2018 - Life Shifts

Wow. It's been one hell of a year and a half.

I had to quit my job and drop everything to rebuild my grandparent's home from a flood and then take care of them as one passed away last month. Not only did I learn tons of new skills, I learned that the most important thing is not what you always thing it is. Time is precious. Spend it wisely.

I was in the middle of starting a serious portfolio for the first time after a real lull in my career going from customer service job to customer service job. I wanted to find friends to learn from and with because the ones I had were pretty toxic. There are lots of opportunities to help people learn and even more opportunities to learn about myself.

I'll miss you Grandpa. You taught me everything you could. Rest in peace.
