After a long day I tried to get my crazy scientist coat , and calculate the trajectory of this freaking ship. Hahah this was fun , but really really weird. If you are patient enough , follow the arrows to see how the ship crashed. This solves a problem where the parts of the ship are across our location. And tomorrow we can finally arrange stuff , and start building the village around this mess! Well, if you are waiting for amazing illustration work soon , forget it xD We are designers right now , solving problems like real concept artists.

DAY 5
Pushing from my fisrt sketches of arcetecture I created this rough light and shadow studys. Stylized look feets the narrative. And soon we should be exploring the "merged" houses.

DAY 6
Well , those little blue things inside every house are anti freeze units that ship had under its first layer of protection. Those things kept the ship from freezing in space and in extreme conditions. They don't heat up . They keep molecular rhythm in the air above freezing. You know that temperture is caused by maleculas moving faster and faster or slower and slower. And those units cancel that in the right way. Also they have a bit of an anti gravity effect and maybe that's how they function , who knows , need more thinking and researching.
When aliens crashed , the outer layer of the ship got damaged , and off course those units fell out. When Vikings saw that nothing freezes in the radius of those "totems" and snow ❄ was elevating above them (due to the antigravity effect) they started dragging the machines inside there houses.logical ? Just babbling right now.... so yeah , it was fun deconstructing the buildings. Off to bed now !

DAY 7
Designed the village from the top view. Now I know EVERYTHING heh And I just noticed , that mountains look like snakes. We may name them something epic ? Any suggestions ?
I placed village in between the "snakes" so the wind doesn't affect the crops that they are growing during the summer. And also , maybe they can store there harvest in the ship? It's fire proof , mouse proof , and hit proof . Seems logical! The village has : 39 houses ,213 people , and only 12 roads . I'll be explaining there everyday life soon!

DAY 8
Spent most of the day in the hispotal. No time for desinging, only for a fast mood painting. How was life before the ship crashed ? How did vikings observe the great battle in the sky ?

DAY 10
Sometimes you just need a comic relief. And Mo , Dr. Horik and Gilbert are my saviors xD Started as alien designs , ended up being a crew...Maybe they crashed in to the Viking village ? xD

DAY 12
I did a little 3D mock up of the village. To choose the best possible composition for the peace. THis is my first experience in 3D actually , so , its really rough xD The scale is a bit off , but composition is what I care about. Starting working on the final illustration soon! Witch composition do you guys think works best ?

Nice 3d base. I love your first one (the big blue one), and number 8. It because viewers could look your overall city. Not only the new structures but also the old one. Viewers could also understand why citizens there make a reason to build new structures.

Number 8, it has also a potential reason to continue. The giant structures on the left and right make a good frame to your composition.

Started using the 3D underlay as my guide line, but I couldnt get the scale I wanted with the autmosferic perspective , and overall composition felt weird. I did this fast (1 hour) sketch , to see the new feel of the peace. The scale is still off , but I like how the spookyness and post apocolyptic feel is showing through. Today I shall continue experimenting. Having fun though(-:

DAY 14
I combined 4 and 6 thumbnails. And came up with this. Since I didnt had time for perspective tweaks and stuff , will get it working today . Need to fix perspective and experiment a bit more with colors , this is too boring in my opinion Thank you @hebronppg , @thakis , @flamer , @jonatan-moonchild , @yandilao and @Nisinka for the feedback and overall following along. We are finally on our way to get the illustration done. Now , reference , patience , and tons of tea xD Rendering stuff out , and tweaking is my most hated part of drawing xD .
