Hello guys

I’m starting this 7 months into my art journey since I didn’t understand how the forum worked back in January and just hopped off. Im gonna try and recount what I did during term 1 and why I did it. I’m currently on term 2 week 4 so it’ll take some time to get everything uploaded neatly but it starts now

I'm back
I'm gonna start with the context of where I actually started drawing before Art school, which was the start of 2023. The volume of art was much less as I didn't have the discipline I do now. These pictures will contain all of my work in 2023, even the drawings I'm embarrassed to show

I'm leaving you with this for now. Some of them are out of order but its not a concern. The only thing I'll end this with is that starting Mondays and Fridays, I'll be posting art I did during this year until we catch up to where I am now

January - First 4 weeks or some equivalent
I didn't actually engage with the photoshop work because I didn't and still don't have access to it. Let me know if I made a grave mistake and should do something about it. There isn't a huge volume of showable work either which surprised me, but that's probably changing as the months go on

April - My page is super long now, and I think this will make it much easier to see. I'll still upload pictures I have something to say about but otherwise, I want people to see what I'm writing/ what they think

May

I noticed I drew a lot of cubes and Bulbasaurs this month, not sure what was with that. The highlight of this month was my progress in drawing faces/torsos, they're definitely something

It is all valuable practice and progress, so keep that up!
I do think posting the external link to your work will make people less likely to check it out, with the extra steps they have to go through to see your work. If you feel like you are posting too much, then post the pieces that you are proudest of. Of course, you are free to continuing posting the link, I just thought I'd mention that I almost didn't click through to see your work. Cheers and keep on making marks!
