Term 2 - Photoshop 2 - Logo Assignment:
Something I made based on an OC character. Also working a bit ahead for the box art project which I can't wait to put together.
First off, it sounds like my high school art study when my assignment was to analyse a famous painting on its meaning and techniques lmao.
Anyway, you capture a lot of interesting detail and viewpoints on that piece. I may suggest that the key object that is far outside the main lighting and deserves more attention is the skeleton's hourglass which is hard to see unless further inspection. Perhaps that indicates that we do not consider to use our life time effectively or maximise it to be productive; rather we use our time to enjoy ourselves instead.
Haha, yeah I had to do quite a few Art History classes, so the influences of them is definitely prevalent.
I definitely see what you mean that the colors of the hourglass is more muted and difficult to see, as well as the narrative of over indulgence.
Thanks for the input.
Term 2 - Pen Monster Assignment
Made a suspicious looking little cyclops spider.
Term 2 - Box Art Assignment
Fun little something I made with an old render of my original Character Rig, Aurora.
oooh that is a very nice rendering!
Thanks! It's amazing what you can do with Blender now a days.
Term 2 - Photoshop 2 Assignments:
Line Weight
Shade Practice
6 & 7 - Color Blend and Fence Brush
Really good color blend Ricardo!
Thanks! I was actually pretty concerned about it, even after adjusting the strength!
Term 2: 1 - Volumes in Perspective:
I feel like I have a reasonable understanding with shading curved surfaces though I feel like I might be struggling a bit with how to shade flatter surfaces. Any advice on how to gauge it properly?
Term 2 - Nose Practice from Reference
Solid deconstruction on the nose. Keep it up!
Thanks! Will do
Term 2 - Mouth Practice from Reference
Term 2 - Eye Practice
Term 2 - Putting it all together:
Something I worked on while following along to each of the exercises.
Head:
Chin:
Ears:
Nose:
Brows:
Mouth:
Eyes:
Term 2 - Head Practice:
Tried putting it all together using just the brush, eraser, and smear tool on one layer. Not used to this approach and feel I need to get a better grasp of the structure of the face so I can do the shadows better, but one step at a time right?
Term 2 - Perspective 2 Assignment
Just finished recently. Really love the perspective brush. Saves from having to do a lot of line work. Though next time I should put the points first so I don't have to guess lol.
oooh super nice lighting!!
Thanks!
Perpective 2 - Assignments 2 & 3
It's been a while. Too long really. But I'm trying to get back to it.
Trying to get the hang of 4 point.... (and remember folks, always know what layer you're working on! )
