Hello guys,

Is a pleasure to meet you all, I'm Brandon F.A. but you can also call me by my artist name of Blacodex or Blazing Codex. I've been drawing in a serious manner for about 6 years now, starting when I was 18. I started learning on my own and felt I could manage to do keep it up like that indefinitely. However, as I started to get more invested in art the more I noticed that I was falling short on what I could do or what I wanted to do. I picked a couple bad habits that I'm trying to remove from my art and realized I kept struggling with certain things for a couple years now. Even if friends and coworkers considered me good in art I wasn't satisfied myself with it.

After struggling with this for a while, I finally took a step in correcting and improving myself through some better guidance, this time however, perhaps I wouldn't need to do this journey on my own. I guess I finally realized that while is noble to try and do things on my own, nothing beats proper guidance.

I aim to become a comicbook writer of my own stories, and I love to create stories of fantastical lands along its inhabitants, being humans or diverse creatures of all sizes.

Here's a couple of my newest drawings that I felt proud of making.

I'm excited to embark on this new journey and I wish to become part of this community and grow along the others going through this path alongside me.

I'm also plotbuilding a story that i'll be making into a web comic with 5 mcs across 2 worlds, with 100's of side characters, and about 24 arcs :smiley:

Wow that’s awesome Brandon. Love the details on that dragon looks sick. You clearly have a solid grasp on drawing, can’t wait to see where you go from here. I too am looking to progress in to work building but through manga. Let the journey begin bud.
