Hello there,
I'm Cypher, and I'm from Poland. Nice to meet you all! Im trying to get into art for some time now, but I'm still at the begginer level. I joined the Art School project, because it seems to be the step in the right direction.

Hello again!
Dropping week one assignment.

I guess it's okayish. The more I played with values and colors the worse it got, so I decided to stop.

Combining images. I decided to keep it simple, because the more I added, the worse it got. Plus I kinda spent more time looking for images with right angles, light source, resolution, than in photodhop.

Adding more apples! Pile got a little bigger, but not too big.

Healing tools. Lips on the result image are kinda too saturated, but I decided to keep it as it is. Like a nice lipstick.

Liquify tools. The jaw was a challenge, but the healing tools came in handy, so the texture is not super stretched, but rather okay.

Completed term 1 - week 3. Took me around 2 weeks, mostly because studies took a lot of time to complete.

Here are some of 30s gesture drawings. At start in 30s was not enough to create even a simple stickman in some cases, but after few days it was more than enough.

Studies. I'm posting these as source + all layers + only clean, final layer

1. Haruko from FLCL. All sketches were done on a single layer, and instead of just erasing it, if something was off, I just kept on using liquify tool. It turned out a bit messy.
   

2. Jolyne from Jojo. I only notifed it while doing this study, that her pants and boots are just one piece of clothing.
   

3. Wolverine from X-men. This one was the hardest. Perspective + really deep shadows, that cover some shapes. I was wondering if doing some other study would be a better option, since it turned out super hard, but finally decided to keep going.
   

4. Asterix from Asterix & Obelix. After Wolverine I wanted something simpler, so I went with Asterix. Looking at it now, I would change my approach for doing the first sketch. I just kept on erasing and adjusting instead of creating few more cleaner layers.
   

5. Aqua from Konosuba. This one went faster way than expected. No suprises here.
   

Now, after posting this, I see some obvious mistakes in those studies xD

I'm going on a ~3 week vacation, so I'll continue with Art School when I'm back.
