HEWOOO THERE!!! I'm Diego (Ursus54 as my online name) I'm 20 years old, and I'm someone that is looking to improve and grow greatly as an upcoming digital artist. Art is something that has touched my soul since I was brought into this world, as I've always been someone to look at life in a artistic way and had the need for creating things from my imagination into a reality. Drawing for me had been a hobby of mine for a couple of years...I really didn't had the time to fully grow upon my skills throughout high school, as I mainly dedicated my time into theatre as an actor for most of my 4 years of school...but I wasn't sure if that was something I would pursue as my career. So I spent a lot of time wondering what I wanted from life and what exactly I would pursue in and many of my friends were saying to that I had quite the talent with digital art, and me doing art for them was truly a gift of joy for my soul, as one of the things that motivates me in life is to bring a smile to those around me...and if my art can do that...then it is honestly a gift in disguise. However, I really didn't know where to go to for my art education as I had no real clue as to where a school could give it to me, and which option was less stressful when it comes to money and making me a well rounded artist as a whole. And THAT'S where out of nowhere I stumble upon Marc Brunet's, Art School For Digital Artists. Just seeing what the program was totally about and for who it was.....I was totally aboard with it from the start, and wholeheartedly I'm ready to begin my true art journey from level 1 all the way to becoming a pro, and most importantly...pursuing my true calling in life. Having this opportunity truly feels like when Bilbo Baggins comes running out of Bag End while saying, "I'm going on an adventure!", (Sorry for my geekiness XD). I'm so excited to improve upon my skills, meeting all the talented individuals that have the same dream as me, and not just becoming a better artist for myself...but for all of the people that believe in me. I'm still going through the first term of the program and have completed a few assignments, but I will be posting my progress as I move through the terms and share my art for all to to see. I would very much appreciate any critiques, suggestions, and information anyone is willing to express with my work and help me grow as a digital artist 😊 Here are some pieces from last year so that y'all can have an understanding at what level I'm at at the beginning .
