1p Perspective
You're right! After drawing it all I felt like the size of the bed and the desk / chair looked very odd next to each other. And I think I know what you mean about the lines. It probably looks strange cause of all the random line weight changes throughout the whole sketch.

2p Perspective
Yes.. it definitely could use more work. The reference I used was very detailed so I rushed and simplified too much of it. Also you'd be right about the line tool. I did 99% of the work with it haha.. I'll try to utilize my own hand more!

Face/Head
I can definitely see those mistakes! I used to draw anime a lot so thinking of the head and its features in space is quite challenging still. I'll take a look at the Asaro Head, thanks for the recommendation!

Ambient Occlusion eh? I remember seeing a video about it on YouTube from Marco Bucci, but never really used it much in my own works. I'll start giving it a go from now on!

I can see that as well! Although heads come in many shapes and sizes it's important to keep everything in "perfect" proportions when learning I think. I will go over the proportions lessons again.

Here are some studies I did of the Asaro head! I'm starting to understand more about the planes of the head now! I'll try to do some studies in more complex angles on my own time.

Here is a little follow along I did of Marc's demonstration! I put one of the vanishing points a bit too close to one another so there's quite a drastic angle that's happening. I will take note of that for the assignment.

As for the 4 and 5 point perspective lessons, I will be skipping them. For now I just want to focus on the things that will help me in the immediate future, but if I master everything else and want to really distort the image and make something dynamic someday I will take a gander.

Here is my attempt at the perspective 2 assignment! There's a lot I could have done better and I don't know if I really fulfilled some of the requirements of the assignment, but I kinda like it. This might be something I try to finish or redraw later down the road.

If you'd like, please feel free to comment everything you think is wrong about this work! It's a bit rushed so I do know where a lot of the issues are, but there's most likely still issues that I don't see yet.

Next up, I will be moving on to term 3.

Here is my attempt at the clothes fold demonstration from Marc. I was blasting through terms 1 and 2, but it seems I will be on term 3 for a little bit longer. I really want to get better at clothes folds. Next up I will be doing some of the assignments and then move onto anatomy lesson 2.

Here is my own attempt at the assignment. I am having a hard time with the tension points and making the clothes look like actual clothes. Right now it just kinda looks like silk.

Hiya! Today I will be working on personal art, tomorrow I will continue with the anatomy 2 lessons. In the meantime I wanted to share a one week difference in my gesture drawing practice.

The way I approach these gesture practices have changed a bit over a week and I think it was a good change. But currently I'm having a lot of trouble with quickly seeing the gesture while also maintaining correct proportions so if anyone has tips or advice on that, that would be great!

for me I had that issue as well and still have it but I just spent a long time(about two months) just focusing on gesture day in and day out and over time I got better at drawing them to what I see as proportional but I also picked up the ability to identify my mistakes while I am drawing them and quickly edit them afterwards or while the timer is still going even if they are very small problems that aren't to bad so. Your gesture looks great though so keep up the good work!

tl:dr it gets better with time as you draw more and more gesture you start to be able to keep things in proportion easier and fix minor issues everyone will have proportion issues no matter how great they are at drawing imo it's just how noticeable is the issue at hand

I'd keep proportion and anatomical correctness separate from gesture and focus on the flow of the body. Like Kosmonaut mentioned you'll get better over time. The more anatomical studies you do the more you'll recognize different parts of the body while you do gestures and they'll improve.
