Your work really nice, you will be able to successfully complete the portfolio and apply for job.
Regarding this point, if these pencil drawings are part of your workflow, I think you can try to show your workflow with this drawings, instead of placing it alone. Because these seem like exercises.
From your pencil draft, your craftsmanship is good, and these can all be presented in your final work.
I think the final artwork plus a clear workflow will make the art director know you better.

The same situation happened in my last job. When I was interviewing, the internet had problems and they couldn’t download my portfolio. I brought my laptop and used my computer to show my work, so the interview was able to continue.
It's looking nice! I'm loving the textures and just the overall vibe I get. It seems like I've been walking in a barren land for so long, with nothing in sight until this very moment. The first sign of civilization in what feels like forever is such an exciting sight!
