Term 1 - MikeX Tartaros

Hey everyone! Im quite an experience user of PS and i got a pretty steady hand in traditional.
This exercise is tougher than it looks.

Some observations:
1) Each person's arm has some angle which is easier to draw straight or curved lines, so - I dunno if I broke the rules- i rotated my canvas using R and did horizontal lines (i do that in my paintings as well).
2) I found it easier in the circles if I am quite zoomed in in my image.

This was created with my old wacom bamboo tablet but I want to do one with my cintiq companion for comparison and post it here.

Everyone has a strong direction for their lines, I have seen it discussed by many people. Personally mine is kinda down and leftish ... so I am always rotating canvas with things I am working on I don't think that there were any "rules" to these assignments

However, I personally was looking at this solely as practice and tried to turn my body differently so that I wouldn't be using a strong stroke, gotta try to use those muscles in different ways so that they get better right?

Lets see that cintiq one! very curious how you feel the difference, my non cintiq wacom has gone the way of the dinosaurs... well the dinosaur toys that my kids play with, because they use it as a little table for tea parties now.

There's no true rules; they have the turning of images for a reason.
If you would like to challenge yourself to have that habit change into a new one, then go for that small progression! But there's no reason to antagonize yourself over semantics as small as "I draw at a curve, so I curved my [paper/image] to mach my natural fluidity."
