Hi there, there definitely are many ways to construct a nose. I was just watching marc’s video last night and found it a bit… confusing 
especially at the end. The anatomy is clear, the basic building block and placement is ok, but then the construction from that to fully formed nose I think can be described with more detail on the 3D forms unless you just memorize the shapes of the cartilage and add the skin on top
My mission today will definitely be noses
If I find tips I’ll post
I don't know much about noses, but I saw other peps in the forum which definetly look like they knew what they do xD Maybe you can look at their notes or ask them for help ^^

The stress-level at Work is lowering and now i try to find my groove back for the Art-School.
Starting with basic shapes, Gesture-Drawing.

So i tried different things.
The Nose is still an interesting construct, but slowly it make "click" to understand.
In theory. In practice, a long way ahead.
The shading part is a little tricky, but a good way for practice shading.
And some ears and where to place it on the Head.
And tip toe into Eyebrows:

The last Days i pick up an old sketchbook and start to draw there.
Two Eye-Brows (the symmetry to get both eyebrows the same is a nice challenge), Mouth and connected to the Nose. (Or what should look like a nose 
)
Nice! That centerline helps a lot especielly when you get used to doing some contour lines, you can draw the centerline following the contour of the glabella nose lips etc ( like the contour of the digure in profile) and check yourself. Helps a lot with foreshortening like you are doing in 2/3 view
It helps to use plenty of reference as well
There you can see that the face is usually way less symmetrical than you imagine, its more important to get the major structures like the skull shape and the proportions right first, then adding the features which tend to be slightly different from eachother (depending on the figure)
Also, note that the hollow of the philtrum starts just a bit above the mucosal lining of the lips. There is usually a little bevel or bulge above the lips lining

Aaaand again, thank You Snakker. i try to keep so many things in my Head that i forget half of them. 
I used this time some References.
First I draw the Nose, followed by the Mouth. And next time I try to draw the full Head-Construction-Lines first and place then everything on top.
I did the Full Head-Construction-Lines first this Time and put everything step-by-step togehter....
i still don't like the Nose part, but it is coming along.

So next stop, more eyes......and more to draw..... 
and of course Noses..... 
More Eyes....i tried to draw the eyes in different expressions.
And one picture as reference. Definetly not great......maybe i try to draw the whole face in the next week.....(famous last Words )
I tried to draw a full face (without the Hair) and i admit it is not great, but it is the first time i drew a Face and it somehow look like a face.
There is a lot of Shading mistakes that i probably did, but it feels good to see some progress. 
Hey there, firs time seeing your journey thread. Just wanted to let you know the progress you've shown so far is pretty amazing.
You can see more confidence in your lines, better view of perspective in this last face you made, better shapes, better shadowing. Overall, you are making really good progress.
On this last face exercice, I feel like I'm pointing something you probably already noticed, but it feels like the structure used has more of a male shape.
The chin is wider, checkbones feel a little wider, as well as the nose and the ear. Refining these features should help get closer to the reference.
I'm really bad at explaining with words, so this example hopefully explains better what I'm trying to say.
That said, I'm going through this exact topic myself right now, so I'm also still learning. It's interesting and fun to see how others are tackling these exercices.

I think i know what you mean and in comparison with your picture, I drew definetly a Male Face.
Yo, great work on all these studies. Do note that the curve we draw towards the chin, though it helps to locate certain things, can set you slightly off if you directly try to shade below the malar bine as it disregards that rhythm. In stead, try visualizing or using a skull reference to better understand the contour and volume of the malar bone. In this example the light area of the “front facing planes” is reduced to very thin triangles, on the figure you can see it is actually surrounding with a very soft gradation in this case, the contour of the malar bones
